On Thursday, ESPN's Dianna Russini spoke about the Green Bay Packers situation with Aaron Rodgers, shockingly saying that the star quarterback is seeking to become the highest paid player in the NFL. Rodgers, who would command a salary in the $50 million range, was savagely roasted by this former Packers star for being ‘selfish', via Vikings Wire of USA Today.

“Aaron Rodgers has been a very selfish guy,” said Jennings, when talking about the contract report. “I get it, he’s at the end of his career, and so it’s like, ‘Okay, I’m going to take whatever I can take.’ But you can’t do that and want to win. How are you going to try to win? I get it, guys got to look out for themselves. But in looking out for yourself, you cut out the legs of others. And understanding at this position, at the quarterback position, you cut out more than just a pair of legs. You cut out a few pairs of legs. For me, this is contradicted to what he’s saying he wants to do.”

Former Packers star Greg Jennings, who played a pivotal role in the team's last Super Bowl win, said that his former teammate has “always been selfish.” Jennings slapped Rodgers with a harsh reality, saying that the four-time MVP can't possibly get paid like he is rumored to be desiring and win at the same time.

Greg Jennings went on to say that by Rodgers looking out for himself, he's “cutting the legs of others”, which makes a lot of sense. If Rodgers gets paid like that, there is no possible way that the Packers could afford to re-sign Davante Adams- or really any of their free agents.

Whatever Aaron Rodgers decides to do this offseason, it will show an awful lot about what his true desires are.
