Somebody has a lot of confidence in the Green Bay Packers for their Thursday night game against the Chicago Bears. According to sports business guru Darren Rovell, a respected player placed a $26,000 bet with Superbook USA for Green Bay +3.

Sports Book Wire's Marcus Mosher breaks down each of the Packers and Bears' recent trends, in the betting realm, saying:

“Not only did Chicago win a bunch of games last year, but they also did well against the spread. The team covered the spread in nine of their last 11 games in 2018. — The Bears are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games against NFC North opponents. The total has gone UNDER in Chicago’s last five games against NFC opponents. Green Bay has struggled away from home as of late, losing nine of their last 10 games on the road. However, they have won eight of their last nine games against the Bears in Chicago.”

The anonymous better is likely banking on the Packers' new offense. Head coach Matt LaFleur, a Sean McVay disciple, is likely going to show the world that his offense will be a bit different from Mike McCarthy's. Aaron Rodgers may benefit from the that, or not; the first opinion of him doing so will be settled Thursday night.

Chicago is going to give the Packers are run for their money. Not only are they playing at home, their defense, led by Khalil Mack, is ready to make some impressions. The Mitchell Trubisky offense may do the same. Only time will tell if the better made the right decision.
