For the Green Bay Packers, Christmas came a little early, as Aaron Rodgers announced that he will be returning to the team.

He did so, per 2017 law, on social media.

Rodgers said on his Instagram, “It’s been a long road from that day to this, but I’m happy to say I’ve been medically cleared to return. Thanks for all the love, support, prayers, and well wishes over the past 8 weeks. #riseagain.”

This is obviously huge news for the Packers. Not only do we know this because everyone understands the greatness that is Aaron Rodgers, but teammates began to go bonkers on the mean streets of Twitter.

Oddly enough, while Davante Adams believes Rodgers to be the king, another thinks he's the goat.

Let's quickly hurl out a few more:

Even a former teammate got in on the social media fun.

Rodgers, a two-time NFL Most Valuable Player and Super Bowl XLV champion, could not be coming back at a better time. While Green Bay has been able to stay afloat just long enough, the world's greatest cheese head should help increase the team's chance of actually making the playoffs.

For those somehow unaware, Aaron Rodgers is extremely good at football. This is a big deal.
