The Green Bay Packers have had the luxury of having a legitimate superstar quarterback for a long time. First, they had Brett Favre and the amazing career that he put together. Next up, the Packers were able to draft Aaron Rodgers and allow him to sit behind Favre for a few years before taking over the starting job.

Rumors have begun circulating that Rodgers has had issues with head coach Mike McCarthy. Many have begun speculating that the Packers could part ways with McCarthy at the end of the season.

Terry Bradshaw, on the other hand, has another idea. He shared in an interview back in 2016 that he would get rid of Rodgers instead of McCarthy if it came to moving on from one.

At the time, everyone thought Bradshaw was insane. That thought has not changed, especially with Rodgers still playing amazing football.

McCarthy has heard his name mentioned on the hot seat for the last few seasons. Green Bay did finally fire defensive coordinator Dom Capers this offseason and replaced him with Mike Pettine. New general manager Brian Gutekunst has made it clear that he is not scared to shake things up.

Rodgers, on the other hand, is in the middle of another impressive season. He has completed 63 percent of his pass attempts for 1,572 yards, 10 touchdowns, and just one interception. Those numbers have been put up even with Rodgers dealing with a nagging knee injury.

Expect to see the Packers move on from McCarthy well before they consider getting rid of their superstar quarterback. Rodgers is the face of the franchise and the heart and soul of the Packers and he won't be going anywhere, as his new contract extension shows very clearly.
