The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears opened up the NFL's 100th season on Thursday night. While it was a big-time rivalry, the two teams did not put on much of an offensive show. Green Bay ended up coming through with a 10-3 win in a hard-fought defensive battle.

Following the game, Packers veteran defensive back Tramon Williams seemed to throw shade at Bears' quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.

All that anyone can say about this entire situation is “ouch” and move on. Trubisky had a rough performance against a much-improved Green Bay defense. To have a veteran come out and call you out like that has to make you feel even worse about a subpar performance.

Williams and the Packers are looking to prove that they can be a top-five defense in the NFL this season. Defensive coordinator Mike Pettine has to feel good about the way his unit looked in Week 1. Trubisky isn't the best quarterback in the NFL, but he was a Pro Bowler last season and Green Bay shut him down.

Adrian Amos, the former Bear, came through with a big-time interception in the end zone late in the game. Preston and Za'Darius Smith both finish with 1.5 sacks apiece in their first regular season game as Packers. Green Bay consistently put pressure on Trubisky and forced him to make throws that he was not comfortable with.

Trubisky is at his best when he can throw short passes and take what the defense gives him. Green Bay forced him to throw the ball down the field and it worked out completely in their favor.

Green Bay is now 1-0 as they look ahead to a big Week 2 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Next up for the Bears will be a road trip to Denver to take on the Broncos.
