Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers is so unhappy with the organization that he has told people he doesn't want to return to the team, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

This comes on the heels of reports saying multiple teams have inquired about Rodgers' trade availability. The San Francisco 49ers, owners of the No. 3 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, are a notable suitor. The Los Angeles Rams apparently made a run at Rodgers before making the Matthew Stafford trade.

While the Packers have shut down trade calls, Rodgers could force their hand if he really wants out and makes a stink about it, with this leak clearly meant to force some pressure. Green Bay has made attempts all offseason to remedy the situation, including working on a contract extension:

Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst recently said Aaron Rodgers will be the quarterback “for the foreseeable future.”

In addition to the contract issue, Rodgers wasn't happy with the Packers last draft when they traded up to get a quarterback in Jordan Love. Rodgers promptly put forth one of the best seasons of his career, only to lose in the NFC Championship Game to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Rodgers then made some cryptic comments about his future right after the season, though those were slightly walked back. However, there's clearly a lot of tension with the franchise.

In addition to his football career, Rodgers recently got engaged to actress Shailene Woodley and was a host of Jeopardy! Maybe he'll just retire to enjoy life with his new beau and become the full-time Jeopardy! host? That is extremely unlikely, but it would be hilarious.
