The Packers and Aaron Rodgers know this: Former Steelers, Raiders and Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown is now a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brown has reunited with future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady, who has continued to vouch for the veteran pass catcher despite a troubled period in his life.

However, it appears as though the Buccaneers weren't the only team in on Brown, who remains suspended through Week 8, as the Green Bay Packers and another future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback in Aaron Rodgers at least did their due diligence when it came to the Tampa Bay newcomer. It also seems as though Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz interested Green Bay prior to him landing on injured reserve.

After losing out on Ertz and Brown, the Packers have since shifted their focus to Houston Texans wide receiver Will Fuller V. According to a recent report from Peter Bukowski of SB Nation, Green Bay has been the most aggressive team trying to land Fuller V before this year's NFL trade deadline.

The Packers will need to add at least one or two weapons to the mix in Green Bay before this week's trade deadline. Even with Rodgers still under center, Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams and up-and-coming running back Aaron Jones have both dealt with significant injuries that have caused them to miss time this season. If Green Bay is going to take some of the workload off these key injured players down the stretch of the 2020 regular season and into the postseason, the Packers front office will need to move quickly and swiftly before it is too late.
