The circus in Green Bay with the Packers and Aaron Rodgers finally appears to be coming to a compromise that has the reigning MVP back in green and gold for the 2021 season. NFL twitter went crazy yesterday when it was reported that Rodgers would be coming back but under most of his terms for this year. Now, he's set to get another piece back.

Randall Cobb was a longtime favorite for Rodgers and the Packers before they opted not to resign him after the 2018 season. Cobb spent one year with the Cowboys and has been with the Texans for one more and now, it sounds like he's heading back to Green Bay.

It had been noted yesterday from one of Rodgers' former teammates, A.J. Hawk, that No. 12 absolutely wanted to play with Cobb again. Now it sounds as though that dream will become a reality as the Packers front continues to try and mend the fracture with their quarterback.

In 8 seasons with Rodgers and the Packers, Cobb racked up 470 receptions, 5,524 yards and 41 touchdowns. A go-to option for the offense at times that was used in the slot and in the backfield, No. 18 is now set to be back in the mix in Green Bay.

With Rodgers back, the Packers are again a legitimate Super Bowl contender. They came up short in the NFC Championship game a year ago for the second straight season and they'll be looking to finally get over the hump this year. Rodgers is back and now it appears Cobb is too.
