Aaron Rodgers' standoff with the Green Bay Packers doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon, so the team has begun scouring the market for quarterbacks to add to the roster for OTAs and training camp, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

As of right now, Jordan Love is the only other quarterback on the roster besides Rodgers. The quarterback search has included some veteran options, but Schefter doesn't name any names.

It's just another day in the Aaron Rodgers trade saga. The Packers quarterback isn't happy with the franchise and has told people he doesn't plan on returning. It's not clear just what would get him to change his mind at this point, though there are reports out there suggesting the firing of general manager of Brian Gutekunst might do the trick.

Rodgers is apparently no fan of Gutekunst and has even taken to calling him Jerry Krause in group chats with teammates. Michael Jordan infamously had a lot of beef with Krause, the late architect of the Chicago Bulls' dynasty in the 1990s.

As of now, Gutekunst isn't going anywhere, and he has shown no interest in trading Rodgers. The San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos have come up as popular trade destinations, but the Packers have shut down inquiries into their star quarterback's availability.

Even if Green Bay is holding out hope this situation with Rodgers can be fixed, it's only smart to have a backup plan available. That means bringing in more competition alongside Love, who hasn't proven anything at the NFL level. Having another veteran (or maybe even two) on board would certainly be helpful for the time being, even if Rodgers ultimately returns to the fold.
