The Green Bay Packers entered their Week 2 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings looking to prove that their offense was much better than the rough showing they had in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears. Aaron Rodgers made that statement on the first play of the game, finding star wide receiver Davante Adams deep down the field for a 39-yard strike.
It didn't take long after that for Rodgers to connect with running back Jamaal Williams for the first touchdown of the day to lead 7-0.
Take a look at the Rodgers to Adams connection for yourself if you missed it live:
Green Bay is looking to get off to a 2-0 start against NFC North rivals this afternoon. The Vikings are a tough football team on both sides of the ball, but Matt LaFleur showed no fear on the Packers' first offensive drive.
It will be interesting to see how this game plays out. Rodgers and the Green Bay offense has big-time potential and if they play like they did on the opening drive, Minnesota could be in for a long day.
Adams also had a disappointing game in Week 1 against the Bears, but looks to be back on track this afternoon. This game should be very entertaining to watch the rest of the way.
