Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has developed a connection with tight end Robert Tonyan. Their rapport has been on full display against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4.

Rodgers found Tonyan once again on an eight-yard touchdown pass for their second end zone connection of the night for the Packers, via NFL Twitter:

The receiving corps for the Packers was shorthanded once again with wide receiver Davante Adams sidelined with a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, the absence of wide receiver Allen Lazard put the onus on the rest of this group to step up for another week.

Tonyan now has four touchdowns through the first four games of the 2020 NFL season. His increased workload indicates that he has earned the trust of Rodgers in the passing game for the Packers. It is safe to say that a potential role as a safety net in the red zone could result in some major production for the former undrafted free agent.
