In what has become a common refrain this NFL season, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver Davante Adams midway through the first quarter of their game against the Detroit Lions.

Packers fans, marvel at your dynamic duo:

Tying the score at 7-all, the pass was a simple back shoulder throw from Rodgers to Adams, who had only a single defender on him. Catching the ball near the sideline, Adams broke through the arms of the Detroit corner before displaying a beautiful juke move that broke Duron Harmen's ankles.

Scoring his league-leading 14th touchdown reception of the season, the score also meant that Davante Adams had become the first player in the history of the Packers organization to have secured a touchdown reception in eight straight games. As for Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback similarly leads the NFL with 37 touchdown throws on the year, as he continues to make his way up the career leader boards for QBs.

Heading to the Sunday showdown, Green Bay was look to secure what would be a three-game winning streak as they chase the New Orleans Saints for the top seed in the NFC. Entering the day at 9-3, the Packers trail the Saints by a single game in the loss column, as New Orleans plays their own match against the Philadelphia Eagles.
