NFL players playing basketball in the offseason was a hot topic when Patrick Mahomes was seen in a video playing at a rec center. Now, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams is another guy who has a video of him playing basketball all over social media.

Adams was seen in a gym doing a 360-degree dunk between the legs. The dunk that he was able to do would've received been one of the best dunks in the 2019 NBA dunk contest.

In addition, it's unknown if the Packers are fond of Adams playing basketball in his off time. Regardless, by watching the video you wonder if the receiver has a background in basketball.

As a matter of fact, Adams played basketball in high school and was actually pretty good. The wideout played four years of basketball at Palo Alto High School in California.

In those four years, he averaged nine points, 5.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists. He was considered a two-star recruit in basketball but chose to play football at Fresno State.

Players have said over the years that they'd love to have a chance to play another sport at some point. Instead, most players just stick to playing different sports in the offseason to enjoy themselves.

The NFL is made up of some of the best athletes in the world so there's no surprise when a player can dunk a basketball effortlessly. The video of the Pro Bowl receiver dunking is phenomenal to watch—as he barely gets a running start to do a 360 dunk.

Needless to say, I think Adams made the right choice by going football and joining the Packers.

But if Adams ever has issues in the NFL, he seemingly could have a future in the NBA.
