Za'Darius Smith grew up in Alabama. He played his college football at the University of Kentucky and found himself on the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL. However, now that the pass-rusher is with the Green Bay Packers, he seems to be all too connected to his faux Wisconsin roots.

Smith, who signed with the Packers in the offseason, paid homage to those that donned green and yellow before him. He boarded the team's plan to California (to face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday) donning a Reggie White jersey, honoring the late, great pass rusher. Watch below, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

White played for the Packers for six seasons. In 95 games for Green Bay, the Hall of Famer tallied 68.5 sacks and 301 combined tackles. In his final season with the Packers, at age 37, he recorded 16 sacks.

Smith signed with the Packers in the offseason and has proven to be a revelation for their defense since, as recorded 13.5 sacks and 37 quarterback hits in his first go-around in Green Bay.
