Julius Peppers might be taking the field any more for the Carolina Panthers, but he is still going to be very involved with the organization, and even is getting his own office inside the team's facility. According to Pro Football Talk, Peppers is getting a new title within the organization, special assistant, business operations.

Panthers vice president of external affairs Steven Drummond said that Peppers is going to to work on a few special projects on the business side to help get the fans and business partners closer to the team.

“Julius is a special person and he will help us in a variety of ways,” Drummond said. “His role is part special projects on the business side and part ambassadorship. We are giving him an opportunity to work in several parts of our business while also helping us engage and grow our business with fans and partners. He will be a tremendous asset.”

Peppers was also a 2017 Walter Payton Man of the Year finalist and he is still very involved with charity work around the Charlotte area. In early April, Peppers donated $10,000 to three different organizations that he felt aligned with his personal values.

It's good that Peppers is still involved with the organization and he is expected to be in the building at least a couple days a week working on the projects. Peppers is one of the greatest Panthers players ever and it's only a matter of time before he has a bronze bust in Canton, Ohio.
