The rest of the NFL needs to be put on notice because Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey has spent all offseason getting faster and stronger.

McCaffrey has been dynamic for the Panthers since being drafted in 2017 and last season he fell only 133 receiving yards shy of being just the third player ever to have 1,000 rushing yards and 1000 receiving yards in the same season.

Some players would be happy with such an impressive season but McCaffrey knows that he can get better and he is motivated to.

“I’m way stronger than I was last year,” McCaffrey said via ESPN. “The faster I can get, the better as well. You can always get bigger, faster, stronger.

“I don’t have any choice. I have to.”

McCaffrey has been working all offseason with personal trainer, Brian Kula on a program that is one like an elite track star would use.

“Christian's routine is unique in a few ways,” said his personal trainer, Brian Kula, who coached McCaffrey in track at Valor Christian High School in the Denver area. “He does not train at a fancy facility, and typically it is just him and I all by ourselves. In some regards, we are an underground operation.

“Our approach and some of our training principles are unique and somewhat outside the box of standard performance training.”

It looks like the results are working because pictures on social media show that he is jacked.

Being bigger and stronger is only going to mean more production on the field, and Panthers fans have to be giddy at the thought of that.
