The Carolina Panthers fell short against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12. However, running back Christian McCaffrey managed to make franchise history.

It is no secret that McCaffrey is in the midst of a stellar season. The former eighth-overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft was eager to prove himself as a workhorse back prior to this year. He essentially solidified that notion when the Panthers decided to part ways with running back C.J. Anderson several weeks ago. His prowess as both a runner and a receiver has been amplified by the arrival of offensive coordinator Norv Turner. As a result, he has become one of the league leaders in all-purpose yards. He has rushed for 632 yards and four touchdowns to go with 60 receptions for 496 yards and four touchdowns.

McCaffrey's workload will only continue to increase as the season goes on. If he can stay healthy, it is safe to assume a few other franchise records are on the way.
