In his second season in the league, Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey has been putting together a career-best campaign that has put among the most productive players at his position.

However, it didn't result in a selection to the Pro Bowl out of the NFC as the likes of Los Angeles Rams' Todd Gurley, New York Giants' rookie Saquon Barkley, and Dallas Cowboys Ezekiel Elliott were each selected over him. In response to that, McCaffrey took it in stride.

“It’s been my whole life,” said McCaffrey in a report by Max Henson of the Panthers. “Nothing new.”

He has certainly made a strong case to earn his first career Pro Bowl selections as he's currently sixth in the league with 979 rushing yards along with seven touchdowns along with being seventh with 94 receptions for 768 receiving yards and six touchdowns. McCaffrey is approaching becoming just third running back in league history to reach 1,000 receiving yards and 100 receptions in the same campaign.

He has already cemented his role within the offense as a primary for the long haul that could see him earn numerous Pro Bowl selections and other individual honors down the road of his career. In the meantime, this is simply something else that can be used to push him even more.
