The Carolina Panthers have a legitimate MVP candidate through five weeks of the 2019 season in superstar running back Christian McCaffrey.

However, things looked questionable at best for Week 6 as McCaffrey was dealing with an injury that took him out of the end of their last game.

Now everything is starting to fall back into place though. That mainly means that McCaffrey appears to be healthy, or at least healthy enough to play. He went through a “full” practice on Thursday.

It's hard to know exactly what this entails, simply because of the way it's said. Listed as full participants makes it sound as if it was up to the team's discretion.

However, it definitely means that McCaffrey was practicing. He was practicing and likely went through at least most of the normal practice motions.

This is massive news for the Panthers. McCaffrey's been an absolute star for them this year, and highlighted it by picking up 237 total yards and three total touchdowns in Week 5. He was the main factor in their 34-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars and has been unstoppable all year long.

Now 3-2, the Panthers find themselves facing the 2-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. While the Panthers enter as slight favorites, they can't afford to be missing any more big pieces. McCaffrey is their biggest piece. If he isn't available, they might see that needle shift over to Tampa Bay.

Obviously, McCaffrey participating in practice is good news no matter what week and no matter who their opponent is. At 3-2, this could be a defining moment in their season though. Having McCaffrey available to them is only going to help.
