Per the Charlotte Observer, Carolina Panthers fullback Alex Armah had to stop a man from breaking into his vehicle last week. Reportedly, Armah used an “arm” wrestling technique to stop a person from entering his vehicle without his consent.

The incident occurred on Feb. 6 right outside his apartment complex in Charlotte. According to the Charlotte Police Department's report, 32-year-old Daniel Cagle was arrested. The charge was on attempting to break in or to enter a motor vehicle. It's unclear whether or not he was released on bail.

Armah had put in his car a dashboard camera via a company called “OWL.” The surveillance warns Armah when somebody is near or in the car via his cellular phone. On the day of the incident, Armah was in the middle of a workout session. He was interrupted by his phone, notifying him of the intruder.

Armah told the Charlotte Observer:

“It alerts me when there’s any type of movement or motion around my vehicle. I got an alert on my phone, and it shows you a preview of what is going on. And it tells you ‘event in process.’ When I looked at it, there was a still frame of someone in my vehicle, going through my stuff.”

Amrah is a second-year NFL veteran. His rookie year, he didn't play at all. But last season for the Panthers Armah had nine total rushing attempts for 15 yards. He ran in two total touchdowns. Armah also had one reception for five total yards.
