Despite a lingering back issue, Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen will play on Sunday versus the Arizona Cardinals, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Olsen was listed as questionable on the injury report.

Olsen was limited in Wednesday's practice but practiced in full for the next two sessions.

Unfortunately, Olsen will be without his best friend on the gridiron, quarterback Cam Newton—who aggravated a foot injury in the team's Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Second-year undrafted former Houston Cougar Kyle Allen will get the start.

Nonetheless, Olsen has confidence in the now-starting quarterback, per Joe Person in The Athletic:

“Sometimes you almost wonder, like, if anything fazes him, really. He’s got a lot of confidence in himself. . . That’s kind of evident by the way he carries himself and how he is on the field. But it’s going to be up to the rest of us to do our part to take as much pressure off of him as possible. Regardless of who is at quarterback, that’s our responsibility and even more so this week,” said Olsen.

The real question is, will Allen find the veteran tight end? Though getting up there in age (34), Olsen has been productive in 2019. Through two weeks, he has 10 receptions on 18 targets for 146 yards to his name.

Allen should target Olsen, as the Cardinals struggle against tight ends. Through two weeks, Arizona is allowing 25 fantasy points a game to starting tight ends. Take Skyler Carlin's advice and start him this week.
