Greg Olsen simply cannot catch a break when it comes to foot injuries and the Carolina Panthers have to be getting frustrated. After missing time earlier this season and last year due to foot injuries, Olsen finally seemed to be getting things back on track. Unfortunately, that has changed once again this week.

According to a report from Pro Football Talk, Olsen has been ruled out of the Panthers' Week 13 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to an injured right foot.

The report also stated that the injury appeared to happen in a non-contact situation.

It appeared to be a non-contact situation, which is bad news for the Panthers since Olsen missed three games earlier this year, after re-breaking the foot he broke last year.

Olsen had been having a good season for the Panthers. He had caught 26 passes for 278 yards and four touchdowns coming into this week's game. Against the Buccaneers, Olsen had caught a pass for 13 yards.

Carolina is in the middle of a push for the playoffs and Olsen was a big piece of their offensive success. Without him on the field, Cam Newton will no longer have his favorite target.

Hopefully, the injury is not as serious as his foot injuries have been in the past. Being ruled out so quickly after leaving the game certainly does not sound good though. Olsen likely has another disappointing foot injury that will force him to miss some time.

Expect to hear an update on Olsen at some point in the next few hours. Carolina will keep their fingers crossed for good news, but the injury does not sound very promising for the Panthers.
