There's a new offensive boss in town and the tight end is enjoying it thus far.

Carolina Panther tight end Greg Olsen spoke about newly-minted offensive coordinator Norv Turner on Monday, admitting much work needs to be completed moving forward, via David Newton of ESPN.

“He loses his cool more out here than in football,” Olsen said as he continued to watch Newton's body language on the mound. “He's really mad right now.”

Turner, 66, is entering a new offensive chapter of his storied playcalling career. The man who once rose to fame with the Troy Aikman-led Dallas Cowboys of the first half of the 1990s has seen his fair share of relocation through the years.

In addition to holding down the head coaching posts for the Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers (for a total of 15 seasons), Norv's offensive coordinator duties include those aforementioned Cowboys, the then-San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers.

Turner's career has resembled more of an offensive hired gun over the last three spots, calling plays for three teams in five seasons (Cleveland Browns in 2013, Minnesota Vikings the last three seasons and now the Panthers).

In any fashion it's shaken down, the fit feels perfect. Carolina's offense is built to rush the football and Norv has never strayed away from his run-first offensive ways. With Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey leading the way, Turner enters the spring and summer with a full salivating face fully equipped with his offensive clipboard.
