Robby Anderson showed his disapproval when it was rumored that the Carolina Panthers could potentially make a move for Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. However, when it comes to Colin Kaepernick, he has a different tune.

Josina Anderson of CBS Sports shared her thoughts that the Panthers should work out Kaepernick. Upon seeing the idea on Instagram, Anderson commented with fire and prayer emojis indicating that he would like it if the team makes such move.

As mentioned, that is in large contrast to his take on Baker Mayfield. After Ian Rapoport of NFL Network noted that the Panthers are the “most likely” landing spot for the Browns QB, he commented a rather savage “nooooo.”

Many teams see Mayfield as a liability, which is why the Browns have been unable to trade him even after making a move for Deshaun Watson. It is also probably the reason why Robby Anderson is so against making a move for him. Besides, it is questionable at best if the 27-year-old is an upgrade at the QB sport for the Panthers.

As for Colin Kaepernick, he hasn't played in the league since 2016 after his public protest–during which he made headlines for kneeling during the anthem. Now five years removed from his last NFL game, he might find it difficult to get back to the league.

Still, he is a quality veteran with Super Bowl experience. And at just 34 years old, he surely still has plenty left in the tank.

It remains to be seen what the Panthers will do, but their wideout has certainly made his choice known.
