In the wake of the 2020 NFL Draft, Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater took to Twitter to send out his thoughts on all of the new players that he saw joining the league:

“To all them youngin's that got drafted and to the ones who weren't drafted, it's about winning and surviving,” Bridgewater wrote. ” Yeah, you were drafted but how do you plan on staying in this league, you pretty much got 2-3 years to prove yourself, work.

“If you weren't drafted, how do you plan on maximizing your opportunity when you get to tryout in camp. And those who won't sign UDFA contracts, don't you dare drop your head! You're given a head start to win at LIFE! Find your purpose.

“The game is the game but LIFE is real and FOREVER.”

Bridgewater knows a thing or two about setbacks, having sustained a gruesome knee injury in 2016 that nearly cost him his leg. He had broken out onto the scene in his first two NFL campaigns, having been named to the Pro Bowl in '15.
