With not much to do, Bridgewater decided to get a bike so he can have another way to stay in shape. While some people are laying on their couches watching Netflix, he went on a five-hour, 75-mile bike ride in Florida.

Earlier this offseason, Bridgewater signed a three-year, $63 million deal with the Panthers. Seeing that Cam Newton was released, Bridgewater is given a clear shot to win the starting job in Carolina.

Just this past season, Bridgewater had to start in five games for the New Orleans Saints due to Drew Brees dealing with a thumb injury.

Over the course of those five starts, Bridgewater threw for 1,205 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions. Above all, he was able to help New Orleans win all five of his starts.

By signing Bridgewater, the Panthers are hoping that he can aid them in becoming a contender in the NFC once again. Before he even takes a snap, it appears that he's staying in shape during the unusual offseason.

Due to the coronavirus, players are unable to utilize team facilities to workout during the offseason. That isn't stopping Bridgewater from staying active. It's safe to say that after seeing his grueling bike ride, it might be time for all of us to get ourselves in shape for summer.
