The Carolina Panthers season has been the tale of two seasons depending if they are at home or on the road and Greg Olsen knows the road play is something they need to improve on. The Panthers are only 1-3 on the road, and with three of the next four on the road, they need to try and improve on that number.

“We've got to play better on the road,” said Olsen via 24/7 Sports. “We've only won once on the road this year, and we didn't even play very well. We need to kind of channel how we've played in our five home games and get off to a start like that.”

Olsen was asked if there was anything the team could do to try and improve and he thinks it needs to just be the whole team playing better. If the team gets lost looking into the little things, they will lose the big picture of just winning games and the road woes won't get any better.

“If you spend too much time diving too much into the details, you can kind of get caught up in it,” said Olsen. “Whatever it takes to (play better on the road) is kind of up to each guy, really. There's no magic words or speeches, it's kind of past (the point for) that right now. We're at this back half of the season, and we're gonna have to win road games if we want to be kind of in the mix here towards the end.”

The Panthers are in good shape right now to make the playoffs but to get home field advantage they are probably going to need to win out. If they don't want out that means they will probably have to go on the road at least once if they want to make it to the Super Bowl.
