Patricio Pitbull is looking to get his featherweight title back when he faces AJ McKee at Bellator 277. The featherweight Pitbull brother has been an MMA champion for years and very rarely loses.

Even though it's an opportunity to win the belt back, Patricio Pitbull doesn't care about that. He's heading into the Bellator MMA event focused on getting revenge against AJ McKee.

“This time I don’t care about the belt. I care about the revenge,” Freire told MMA Junkie at a pre-fight news conference Wednesday. “I want my revenge against him. I want to beat him.”

Patricio Pitbull is not making things personal with AJ McKee but he has a serious rivalry with him. It's not just about the Bellator MMA championship, it's about two competitors wanting to put their hands on each other.

“My rivalry is against everyone that is going to try to put their hands on me. He has my belt. I want to take it back. … I don’t care about (the odds). In the last fight, I was the favorite and I lost the fight. That’s bullsh*t.”

“He’s a great fighter,” Freire said. “He has a good style, but you know sometimes, it’s sometimes it looks like it when these guys run through the ranks. But I’m going to stop him.”

Patricio Pitbull looks to regain his Bellator MMA featherweight championship against AJ McKee on Friday. Many are excited about the fight as it puts two very high-level featherweights against each other in a bout to determine who is the best.
