Throughout nearly the last two decades, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has led the franchise to much success over that span.

Following Sunday's convincing 41-16 win over the Denver Broncos, Belichick put himself in an elite company for all-time wins in NFL history, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.

Bill Belichick notched his 270th career victory as a head coach on Sunday night, pulling into a third-place tie with Tom Landry on the all-time wins list. He deflected the praise to his players.

The Patriots under Belichick have been one of the most dominant teams in the league over his tenure that includes winning five of seven trips to the Super Bowl, which is most all-time for a head coach in league history. He has also earned three AP NFL Coach of the Year awards with 15 seasons with at least 10 wins and 14 AFC East division titles including the last eight straight.

Although much of his success has been tied to future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady, he has been able to continue to maintain a high level of success over his long tenure as the head coach of the Patriots. He now trails only Don Shula (347) and George Halas (324) on the NFL's all-time wins list for head coaches.

The only question that remains at this point is how much longer he plans on coaching now that he's 65 years old.
