New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon remains out of practice with a knee injury sustained in Week 6's win over the New York Giants. The Patriots' No. 1 receiver missed Thursday's and Friday's practices leading up to Monday's divisional game with the New York Jets. New England's Saturday practice should tell if he plays or not in the primetime game.

According to New England's latest injury report, Gordon isn't just dealing with a knee injury. He is also suffering from an ankle ailment. It is becoming increasingly likely that he will not play on Monday.

For the season, Gordon has 20 receptions for 287 yards and a touchdown.

Gordon's injury isn't the only one to the Patriots offense. Tight end Matt Lacosse has not practiced this week. He is expected to miss time with an MCL sprain. Fellow tight end Ryan Izzo joined Lacosse on the sideline as he battles a concussion. If both are out, Benjamin Watson and Eric Tomlinson will be the tight ends; neither player has appeared in a game with the Patriots in the 2019 regular season.

In addition to Gordon's and the tight ends' injuries, running back Rex Burkhead (foot), safety Patrick Chung (heel/chest), wide receiver Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) and wide receiver Julian Edelman (chest) were all limited on Friday.

On the other side of the ball, the Jets have a laundry list of injuries. Defensive lineman Henry Anderson (shoulder), tight end Chris Herndon (hamstring) and guard Kelechi Osemele (shoulder) all did not practice on Friday for New York. In all, Monday's game should be one featuring many players on the inactive list.
