New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady has continued to defy Father Time in his 19th season in the league as he has continued to play at an elite level into his 40s.

The 41-year-old has shown no notable decline in his performance on the field that has led to Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers to voice praise toward Brady for his unique ability to continue to play at this stage of his career, according to Tyler Sullivan of 247 Sports.

“I think to some extent, definitely,” Rodgers said while speaking to New England reporters on Wednesday. “But Tom's kind of – he's an outlier, he's a unicorn. There's not many like him. Obviously, what he's done in making it more public now with his diet and his workout regiment, that kind of sets a blueprint for how it's done for him. We all have our own ways of taking care of ourselves, but I think it's a great reminder about how important diet is to your overall performance. That's one thing that the player in 2018 I think understands a lot more than in 2005 when I got in the league and obviously when he got in years before that.”

Brady has proven himself to be an anomaly with his continued success on the field in the 2018 campaign as he is still playing some of the best football of his career. He is currently ninth in the league with 2,200 passing yards and sixth with 16 touchdowns passes along with holding a 67.5 percent completion rate and a 97.6 passer rating.

Much of this success for Brady has laid with his commitment to the craft along with being quite strict with his workout regimen and diet. These two have been two aspects of his career that he has pinpointed to helping him continue to play in the NFL at a point where many of the past greats have already retired.

This is something that Rodgers has a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for Brady's dedication to his craft that he's looking to mimic in this next chapter of his career.
