New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown was hit with rape allegations last week, and now, he is being accused of sexual misconduct by another woman. Brown denies these allegations:
“Antonio Brown has reviewed the sexual misconduct allegations made by an unnamed artist included in a recently published Sports Illustrated article and denies that he ever engaged in such activities,” Brown's attorney, Darren Heitner, told TMZ Sports. “There will be no further comment at this time.”
The aforementioned article, which was written by Robert Klemko, states that Brown hired a female artist to paint a mural on his wall in his Pittsburgh-area home in June 2017.
As the woman was painting, Brown came up behind her naked, holding a small towel over his genitals. The woman, who did not file a police report and is not pursuing legal action, said that Brown was “flirty” with her and then “ghosted” her after she turned him down.
Last week, it was revealed that Brown's former trainer, Britney Taylor, said the wideout sexually assaulted her on three different occasions, including forcible rape in May 2018.
Brown has also denied those allegations.
The 31-year-old was set to begin the 2019 campaign with the Oakland Raiders before a string of incidents resulted in the Raiders voiding the $30 million in guaranteed money on his contract, which led to Brown asking for his release.
Oakland obliged, and Brown signed with the Patriots almost immediately.
He made his New England debut on Sunday, catching four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Miami Dolphins.
