Despite a slew of troubling allegations, New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown has a shot to play on Sunday. This comes as a surprise, as there was talk of putting Brown on the Commissioner's Exempt list.

This is good news for all fantasy football fans, but terrible news for the NFL. At this point, it's impossible to tell if the allegations against Brown are true, but why risk it? Allowing the prima donna receiver onto the field on Sunday is simply not worth it. If the allegations are true, letting Brown play is a major lapse in judgment by the league, as well as being the morally wrong thing to do. The former Steelers All-Pro receiver should be placed on the Exempt list right away.

It's not as if Brown's absence will impact the outcome of Sunday's game anyway. The Patriots face off against the Miami Dolphins, who are widely considered the worst team in all of football. While it's true the Pats due have a penchant for losing in Miami, this time is different. The Dolphins appeared to be a junior varsity team that wandered into Hard Rock Stadium when they played the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1. New England will likely control the game, Antonio Brown or no Antonio Brown.

The Patriots started the season off so strong there's questions as to whether they even need Brown or not. Long known as a drama queen with a tendency to divide, he's already been booted from two teams due to his conduct off the field. Hopefully the allegations against Brown aren't true, and he can try to return to football.
