The New England Patriots were starved for wide receiver talent as they entered the 2019 NFL Draft, and they wasted little time in making sure they got someone they like, when they selected Arizona State wide receiver N’Keal Harry with the number 32 overall selection.

Thanks to the film department in New England, the Patriots were able to share a video of the moment when Harry was selected. Filmed inside the war room of the Patriots, the video shows Patriots head coach Bill Belichick calling Harry to congratulate him on becoming the latest Patriot.

After coming into the draft needing some help in the pass catching department, Harry stands to be a huge addition to the defending Super Bowl champions. The 6-foot-2, 288-pound receiver is known for his incredible hands and ability to go up and make plays on contested passes, something that Tom Brady will no doubt love.

“He’s been a productive player,” Patriots Director of Player Personnel Nick Caserio said (via 247 Sports). “He has some physical attributes that are important to that position. There’s some other good players that are up there, as well, so we just thought this was the player that made the most sense for us at the time.”

While Harry may not have the type of insane speed that some might want in a receiver, his ability to fight through contact and create separation after the catch is something that will no doubt help the Patriots as they look to once again repeat as Super Bowl champions.
