Randy Moss is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL if New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is to be believed. He considers the former-wideout-turned-analyst as one of the most intelligent players he's ever had the privilege of coaching.

The Patriots head coach talked about what it was like to coach the Hall of Fame receiver. He said that the wideout has been a delight to coach and actually gave back discoveries about the passing game that helped him grow his knowledge even more.

The NFL shared the video:

It's definitely something to hear a successful coach say these things to a wideout:

“One of the smartest players I’ve ever coached… He taught me more about receiving and the passing game by far than anybody else.”

The four-time First-Team All-Pro wideout started his career with the Minnesota Vikings, where he earned three of his All-Pro mentions. In his eight years up north, he notched a total of 587 receptions for 9316 yards and 92 touchdowns. He then spent two years with the Oakland Raiders before joining the New England Patriots for a long tour of duty.

During his four years under Belichick, Moss garnered 3,904 receiving yards and 50 receiving touchdowns, easily his most productive time as a wideout. His career winded down with short stops in Minnesota, New England, the Tennessee Titans, and the San Francisco 49ers.

It's easy to see why he's considered one of the best receivers to ever pad up. It also makes his inclusion to the All-Time Team a no-brainer.
