Josh Gordon has seemingly been behaving himself upon his arrival to the New England Patriots. However, a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network suggested that Gordon could finally be set to feel Bill Belichick’s wrath for a recent misstep.

Gordon had allegedly been late for a team meeting and a team bus to the airport and would subsequently be benched for a portion of their Monday night game against the Bills as punishment.

But that benching didn’t seem to take place. Gordon ended up starting and playing a good number of the team’s offensive snaps in their 25-6 win. He finished with four catches for 42 yards.

After the game, head coach Bill Belichick said he didn’t know anything about the report.

“Yeah, I don’t know,” Belichick said, via NESN.com. “You’d have to ask whoever wrote that. I have no idea.”

Gordon was also asked about the report, but he seemed equally miffed about the whole situation.

“That’s going to be a question you have to ask Coach about,” Gordon said. “But as it relates to the game, I was available, so that’s a plus.”

“I’ve got to check on everything. I’m not too sure about what’s out there myself. I couldn’t even give you an answer.”

Gordon obviously has a history of less than stellar behavior, so these types of reports will always be concerning. And everyone knows that Belichick will not tolerate that type of behavior from his players.

But unless the Patriots have decided to cover up this incident —  which isn't completely beyond them — it doesn't appear as if Gordon has gotten to Belichick's bad side.
