The New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills are preparing for a Wild Card round clash on Saturday night in primetime. The two division rivals split the season series, so this highly anticipated playoff meeting will be the decider. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick knows that the key to stopping the Bills is slowing down dual-threat quarterback Josh Allen. Belichick spoke about the Bills on Thursday and heaped praise on Allen, per Bills Wire of USA Today.

“Josh is one of the best players in the league. Dynamic player. The ball is in his hands a lot. He can do a lot of things with it, make all the throws at all levels of the field, obviously run with the ball, scramble, extend plays, and throw it,” Belichick said. “It’s always a challenge to play against him. He’s a tough guy to stop.”

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick didn't hold back with his praise of Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen, who he called one of the best players in the league.

Belichick noted how Allen can make every throw but also can take off and run with the ball, a unique skillset that was on full display in the most recent Patriots-Bills game, which saw the Buffalo star throw for three passing touchdowns while running for 64 yards in a 33-21 defeat of New England.

Bill Belichick and the Patriots defense will have to find a way to stop one of the “best players in the league” in Josh Allen if they want to defeat Buffalo on Saturday.
