Cleveland Browns' cornerback Troy Hill was taken off the field on a stretcher after he led with his helmet while attempting to tackle New England Patriots wide receiver, Jakobi Meyers.

Hill spent some time with the Patriots back in 2015 under Bill Belichick. Coach Belichick had some nice comments to make about Troy Hill.

As reported by Phil Perry of NBCS Boston, Belichick had this to say in the postgame press conference,

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Troy Hill… Hopefully he's OK.”

Troy Hill suffered a neck injury. He does have movements in his extremities. Hill was taken to be further evaluated at the nearest hospital. It's great news that he does have movements in his extremities and hopefully, that means that everything will be okay.

Hopefully, for Hill, everything is going to be okay as this was a scary injury. Injuries like this are always horrible to see. Not only are these career-ending injuries sometimes but they are also life-changing or life-threatening injuries.

The Browns can't be worried about when they were going to get Trey Hill back but it would be nice if he could be back sometime soon as they're going to desperately need him. Hill is an above-average quarterback and as shown today against the Patriots, the Browns need all the defensive help that they could possibly get. This was something that you don't ever want to see on the field. The Patriots won this contest easily.
