New England Patriots wide receiver N'Keal Harry had a disappointing rookie campaign last season after being selected as the 32nd pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He missed the majority of last season due to a nagging ankle injury which limited his production for the Patriots.

The former Arizona State Sun Devil will aim to change the narrative and prove that he can live up to the expectations set upon him as a first-round pick in the draft. He has been successful in doing so as he has emerged as a key piece in the Patriots offense in 2020.

Newly-acquired quarterback Cam Newton saw Harry grow in front of his eyes even in his short stay with the team thus far:

“Doughboy has grown in front of everyone’s eyes,” he said. “For him to gain confidence in himself, I think that’s a start. And I think that’s what he’s doing. I think today’s game was a great indication of that and what he could potentially be. Yet through it all, he still has to keep building to become the best version of himself.”

Patriots veteran wide receiver Julian Edelman also took notice of the sophomore's continuous development during the past year.

“We’ve all wanted him to come out and play and he’s been getting better and better each week,” he said. “He’s grown up a lot this year.”

N'Keal Harry saw his numbers improve against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 where he contributed 72 receiving yards on 8 receptions in the loss. The 2020 NFL season is still young and it is too early to judge things as they currently stand.

However, his valiant performances may be indicative of him finally trending in the right direction this time around.
