The New England Patriots are on a roll once again with Tom Brady and company firing on all cylinders with the NFL playoffs right around the corner. Along with having won eight straight games while tied for the best record in the league at 10-2, New England may get an offensive boost in Week 14 with Chris Hogan returning to practice.

According to Zack Cox of NESN.com, Hogan is back on the practice field after missing the last four games.

The New England Patriots had one key player back at practice Wednesday but were missing several others. Wide receiver Chris Hogan, who has sat out the last four games, practiced for the first time since injuring his shoulder in New England’s Week 8 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Before going down with the shoulder injury which sidelined him for four games, Hogan was quickly becoming one of Brady's favorite targets in the Patriots offense. The 29-year-old caught five touchdown passes from Brady prior to the injury and will be a welcome addition to New England's offensive arsenal as they prepare for the final stretch and another potentially long playoff run in the AFC.

It remains to be seen whether Hogan will be cleared to play in Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. Tight end Rob Gronkowski has been ruled out for Week 14 due to suspension meaning having Hogan on the field would give the Patriots a bit more insurance on the offensive side of the football.

In eight games, Hogan recorded 33 receptions on 54 targets for 438 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
