Damien Harris just recorded a rush for the New England Patriots that hasn't been done since 1997. His 64-yard touchdown was the longest rushing touchdown for the Patriots since Curtis Martin had a 70-yard touchdown in 1997. This is for the regular season only as Gehrig Blount had a 73-yard touchdown in the 2013 divisional round vs the Indianapolis Colts.

Damien Harris has formed into an above-average running back in his early career. He has been a big part of the Patriots' success this year. They're one of the younger teams in football as Harris, Mac Jones, and some others lead to a bright future for the Patriots.

This was a big run for him as this is almost a must-win game for New England. They are currently only a half-game ahead in the AFC East in front of the Bills. There's no better game than now for them to get over a full game lead in the conference and take care of business in the next few weeks of the season to run away with the AFC East.

Times are exciting right now in New England. Not many people expected them to be in the position that they are in this season, but Mac Jones and Bill Belichick have done a great job to make sure that their team finds success.

They currently have an 11-7 lead late in the second quarter and will look to keep this lead before going into halftime.
