Miami Dolphins wide receiver Danny Amendola has spent time with both the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams (although they were in St. Louis when he played for them) during his career, so to whom is he pledging allegiance in this year's Super Bowl?

Amendola is rolling with the team that he won a pair of Super Bowls with: the Patriots.

The 33-year-old appeared on ESPN's First Take on Wednesday and explained why he thinks New England will come away with yet another championship.

Amendola went undrafted, but began his NFL career with the Rams back in 2009.

He played four years with the organization before landing with the Patriots in 2013, where he went on to become one of the most reliable targets for Tom Brady in New England's passing game, possessing good hands and great route-running ability to provide a security blanket for Brady in the slot.

While Amendola never exactly filled the shoes of Wes Welker, whom he replaced, he was still instrumental in both of the Patriots' Super Bowl wins during his tenure in Foxborough, particularly during the 2016-17 campaign when he hauled in eight receptions for 78 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Pats' historic comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

Amendola also had a monster performance in last year's Super Bowl, racking up 152 receiving yards in a 41-33 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The 33-year-old then proceeded to sign a two-year deal with the Dolphins last March. During his first season in Miami, Amendola snared 59 balls for 575 yards and a score.
