I’ve seen and felt God in so many ways in this last week. 1st was holding my 3rd child Mia and telling her I love her and then telling her see you later…all in one day. 2nd has been leading such a strong and powerful woman @dr_yimac32…her strength has brought me to tears but also inspired me to be what God has called me to be. 3rd Gods love on earth has been shown to us by unbelievers friends and family who have checked on us daily, and hourly. Thank you everyone for your love and prayers -Dmac
It’s absolutely awful that McCourty and his wife had to endure having their daughter pass away before she had a chance to begin her life. At the least, it’s a positive sign to see McCourty keep a positive mindset despite experiencing a horrific incident.
Devin and Jason McCourty, who both play with the Patriots, share social media accounts. Following their post on Instagram, Devin’s wife took to Twitter to share what the family has been going through recently. In addition, they thanked the people that reached out to them during his time of distraught.

Earlier this offseason, Devin McCourty re-signed with the Patriots, inking a two-year, $23 million deal to remain with the team that drafted him in 2010. Just this past season, Devin put together a career-year, notching 58 tackles, five interceptions, and seven pass breakups. Somehow he failed to be selected to the Pro Bowl and didn’t receive All-Pro honors.
Nevertheless, Devin is dealing with something bigger than football right now and it will be quite a challenge for him and his family to overcome. It goes without saying that hopefully, Devin and his family overcome this and come out of it stronger than ever.
Regardless of what team you root for, everyone should be behind Devin and his family during these trying times.
