Dez Bryant remains unemployed even after his highly anticipated and much-talked-about visit with the Cleveland Browns. Now, the free agent wide receiver may be turning his attention to another team, as he continues to look for work.

One Twitter user who goes by the handle of @BostonAmbrose caught Bryant leaving a tasty and head-turning reply to someone who tried to shoot his shot in wooing the wideout to come and play with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots (h/t NESN).

It’s not unusual for a player to admire another’s body of work, but since it’s Bryant who expressed his reverence for Tom Brady, it was only a matter of time before people start wondering whether the veteran player is taking his job search to Foxboro.

Conversely, the Patriots could also be considered as a viable landing spot for Bryant. New England is a little bit thin downfield after trading Brandin Cooks, seeing Danny Amendola walk away in free agency, and learning that Julius Edelman will be suspended for the first four games of the upcoming regular season. That’s to mention that both Jordan Matthews and Malcolm Mitchell were waived.

Chris Hogan certainly could use some help in the receiving corps to take away some of the defensive focus away from him in the passing game.

Dez Bryant is no longer the elite wide receiver he used to be, but he can still be productive. Last season, he played in 16 games and came up with 838 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 69 receptions before getting released by the Dallas Cowboys back in April.
