Dont'a Hightower's fiance Morgan Hart had to endure 17 hours of labor. And during the whole ordeal, the New England Patriots linebacker pulled out his football mantra to motivate his fiance.

Per Stan Grossfield of the Boston Globe, Hart shared that Hightower kept on chanting “28-3, 28-3” during labor. Hightower has brought the lessons he learned in the field onto real life.

“It was a long night and a long day, and he kept reminding me, ’28-3, 28-3,′ meaning you can be behind and come back,” Hightower's fiance Hart said. “Never, never give up. Dont’a is a motivator and always has been. 28-3 is about what you can do as a team, and, in this case, it was the two of us as a team. He kind of renewed my spirit that he was in this with me, and if I wavered at all, he was here to pick me back up. “He got me through it, for sure.”

Hightower was referring to the Patriots' incredible comeback against the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI. Down by 28-3 entering the second half, almost everyone thought that the Falcons already had the game in the bag.

But lo and behold, the Tom Brady-led Patriots stormed back. Hightower himself made a crucial defensive play in the fourth. The linebacker was able to run right towards Falcons QB Matt Ryan, and come up with the strip and sack. The Patriots recovered the fumble and were able to score on the other end.

In the end, the Patriots won the Super Bowl — one of Dont'a Hightower's three titles.
