Tom Brady and Bill Belichick shared a hug after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers-New England Patriots Week 4 game on Sunday. However, fans quickly noticed how cold the exchange was, with Belichick not even staying long to talk to his former QB.

Of course such interaction highlighted their alleged ā€œdeterioratedā€ relationship during Brady's final years in New England. After all, there were reports how Brady met with Patriots owner Robert Kraft in 2017 to discuss possible replacements for Belichick, as well as the head coach refusing to meet the veteran quarterback in person when he opted to join the Buccaneers in 2020.

Fans were quick to comment on the frosty exchange, with some expressing their shock by how Belichick interacted with his former star quarterback that helped him get six Super Bowl rings with the Patriots.

For what it's worth, some also defended Bill Belichick and noted how it was just his personality. The Patriots coach was never known to talk a lot or show emotions on and off the field, with his cold demeanor on the sideline a more common sight than him smiling.

With that said, it might just be Bill being Billā€“no matter with whom he's interacting with, even if it's Tom Brady.

While it's wrong to assume anything from the quick exchange, it will certainly just fuel talks about their alleged beef. The two have never really addressed the issue, though they have expressed how much they respect each other.
