New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers finally got into the end zone for the first time in his career. Meyers had the most receptions at 134 and receiving yards at over 1,500 for a wide receiver in NFL history without a touchdown catch. That all changed against the Cleveland Browns as Brian Hoyer threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Meyers.

This has to feel good for Meyers as he's been in the league for three seasons now and wasn't able to ever get into the end zone. He's actually a very talented wide receiver but was just never able to find his way into the end zone. He even led the Patriots in receiving yards in 2020. What's even crazier about all this is that Meyers has thrown two touchdown passes in his career before he ever caught one.

The Patriots are currently blowing out the Cleveland Browns 44-7. The Patriots are starting to figure it out and when the Patriots get into the playoffs you never know just what can happen. The Buffalo Bills are also currently up big against the New York Jets so the Patriots will still be a half a game behind the Bills.

Hopefully, for Meyers and the Patriots, this will be the start of something new and will result in more touchdown catches for him. New England is playing their best football of the season at the perfect time. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out for them.
