The New England Patriots took Jarrett Stidham with a fourth-round pick and there have been questions since if this is going to be Tom Brady's replacement when he decides to hang up the cleats. Stidham is a raw prospect but he does have the right intangibles to make it on the next level, and maybe sitting behind Brady for a few years is all he needs.

Stidham has heard the talk already about him replacing Brady, but he isn't feeling much of that pressure and just feels blessed that he is in the position he is in.

“No, I don’t think I feel any pressure,” Stidham told reporters about the possibility of being the heir apparent to Tom Brady via 24/7 Sports. “Like I said, it’s an awesome opportunity to learn from a guy like Tom. And like I said, he’s played so much, he’s seen everything, he’s won a lot – there’s just so many different intangibles that I want to soak up from him.”

“I’m sure everybody wants to be as good as Tom Brady one day. I’ve got to take it one day at a time, and that’s what I’m going to do and I’m going to work as absolutely hard as I can to make sure I can do whatever it is to help this organization out.”

The best thing Stidham can do the next few years is learning as much as he can from Brady, and even if he doesn't end up being the next Brady, learning from the best should really help improve his game.
