New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon struggled on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans but he wasn't about to blame an injury on his struggles.

“My hand’s fine,” Gordon told reporters after New England’s 34-10 defeat via Boston.com. “Physically, I feel good. Blessed to walk away with it unharmed, so thankful for that.”

Tom Brady targeted Gordon 12 times, but he was only able to haul in four of those for 81 yards. His biggest catch of the day was during the first quarter when he went deep catching the ball on linebacker Wesley Woodyard for 44 yards.

Gordon also noticed that the Titans were getting pressure on Brady all afternoon and he thinks it was a big reason for the offense really struggling.

“It’s tough for me to give a good perspective because I’m not looking back and seeing the defensive line, but I think that’s partially due to the reason, due to the fact that I felt a little rush out there,” Gordon added.

Most experts coming into the game thought it would be an easy win for the Patriots, but Gordon assured that they weren't overlooking them and they knew it was going to be a tough battle.

“It was a grinder, for sure. We knew it was going to be a 60-minute game. We just came out a little slow and couldn’t get out footing, so, as you can see, the result of it.”

The Patriots are on bye this week and will head to New York to take on the Jets and the hope is that will be the game they can get back on track.
