Tom Brady can pretty much do whatever he wants these days and the New England Patriots wouldn't be able to say a thing, and it's gotten to the point where the Patriots don't even know what he is doing during the offseason.

With organized team activities starting in a week-and-a-half, New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels does not know if or when Brady will be there:

“I have no idea,” McDaniels said, according to Darren Hartwell of NBC Sports Boston. “When he's here I'll be happy to see him. I trust completely what he's doing. I'm sure he's in good shape, good condition, and preparing for the year.”

McDaniels went as far as to say that it isn't even his place to question Brady's process:

“I haven't really pinned that question on him, and I don't think it's really my responsibility to do that,” McDaniels said. “I know he's working his butt off, and he'll be ready.”

With Brady turning 42 years old in August, he knows the drill by now, and after spending all of this time in the NFL, he obviously knows how to keep himself in shape, so the Pats should never worry about his offseason plans.

Brady is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which many felt he was finally beginning to decline, as he did not look like himself at certain points in the second half of the season. However, he then led the Patriots to their sixth Super Bowl title, silencing anyone who doubted whether or not he could still play quarterback at an elite level.
